Our Consultants and Advisors are both highly qualified and competent, coming from a variety of backgrounds. The emphasis within JS Safety Associates is on working as a team to be able to provide a seamless complete service to our Construction, Utilities, and Scaffolding Clients. Contining investment in training has proved essential in ensuring our Consultants and Advisors are encouraged to strive to improve their knowledge base and experiences via CPD development. The Consultants and Advisors are members of various Professional Bodies and Associations including IOSH and The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA).

John Steven Simons

John Steven Simons has over 33 years of scaffolding experience ranging from lead Scaffolder, contract supervisor, manager and contract, and safety director.

 

Now a freelance Chartered Health, Safety and scaffolding professional within the Scaffolding Industry. This includes the responsibilities as a Temporary Works Coordinator (Scaffolding TWC).

 

John's knowledge and experience has enabled him to create a successful company with a established client base.

Robert Aitken

Advanced Scaffold Inspector.

Robert Aitken has over 20 years of Construction and civil enginnering experience as Contract Manager with at least 6 years as freelance scaffold inspector.

 

Robert has carried out all safety management related tasks including establishing site standards for safety management, training, site safety committee, employee/contractor safety awareness, site inductions, tool box talks and risk assessment/method statement briefings.

Alan Power

Health, Safety and Scaffolding Advisor

 

Advanced Scaffold Inspector

Alan Power has worked in the scaffolding industry for over 20 years. In this time he has worked for companies incorporating the whole spectrum of the industry and possesses both trade scaffolding and professional safety qualifications.

 

Alan has worked his way up from labourer to advanced scaffolder, charge hand, advanced scaffolding inspector before undertaking supervisory and professional health and safety qualifications. Including the responsibilities as Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS).
